A game of hide-and-go-seek leads Cedric to tell the tale of the day he met the tyrannical Prince of Frogs (not to be confused with the Frog Prince). It took the help of a crafty spider named Sharon to save the forest and inspire Cedric to go on a journey to find the Dragon.

The difficult Duchess of Grazia visits the Royal Castle and prompts Cedric to tell Nia the story of the time when they had to save the Head Knight from three ogres. Nia learns that being a Not-Yet-Knight means helping all those in need, even the ones who make it hard.

Nia goes to the Royal Fair and meets Cedric's old foe turned friend, The Giant. A recounting of the time when Cedric went up against one of the forty thieves helps Nia to understand that everyone deserves a second chance.

Cedric sets out to show Nia the importance of resourcefulness by recalling the time he and his friends went to Mill Town. Beset by a magic that makes them sleepy, it required a high-flying and clever solution, using materials from the mill, to free the townsfolk.

Nia has become an expert on dragons, but a Not-Yet-Knight needs to learn that no one knows everything. Cedric is reminded of when he and his friends were challenged by Rumpelstiltskin to guess his middle name.

A Not-Yet-Knight must learn that some battles aren't worth fighting. Cedric tells the tale of the time they got wrapped up in a war over the candy house of Hansel and Gretel, only to find that the mischievous pair was playing a game all along.
